25 Ways to Relax After Work

Work can take so much of your energy, leaving you worn-out and exhausted at the end of the day. Sometimes, you even feel like you have to drag yourself out of your cubicle all the way back to your house because your muscles just don’t want to cooperate with you anymore. All you want to do is to forget the stress and hassle of your job and have a relaxing time when you get home.
If you’re like most people, you’d probably watch TV while lounging on your couch. Or munch on your favorite comfort food. Or just go straight to bed and doze off. Sure, these activities can be relaxing. But aside from these, there are many other ways for you to unwind after long, hard day at work. Here are 25 other options you can try out:
1. Don’t just take a quick shower, but soak yourself in a hot tub (with foam if you wish).
2. Light some scented candles or indulge in an aromatherapy with scented oils.
3. Exercise. Take a quick jog around the neighborhood or do some stretches.
4. Do some breathing exercises.
5. Meditate.
6. Make yourself a hot cup of tea or apple cider.
7. Read a book.
8. Play some relaxing and soothing music.
9. Call up a friend and a have a nice, long chat.
10. Go to a karaoke place and sing your heart out.
11. Write your thoughts in a journal.
12. Grab a sketchpad and draw away.
13. Catch a good movie in the theater with your special someone.
14. Cook your favorite recipe for dinner and whip up some irresistible dessert to go with it.
