The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent tight end J.P. Foschi today, according to his agent, Ralph Cindrich.The Bills needed depth with Derek Schouman and Michael Matthews injured and Shawn Nelson suspended four games for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy.According to Cindrich, Foschi also drew interest from the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos.Foschi, 28, has previously played for the New York Yets, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs.The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder has caught 33 career passes for 297 yards and two touchdowns.Last season, he caught 27 passes for 260 yards and two scores.Foschi played collegiately at Georgia Tech.The Bills have waived defensive back John Destin.
